This study discusses the importance of organizational development to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of schools in facing the challenges of modern mo education. The study was conducted in four schools in Sumatra (Schools A, B, C, and D) using a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach. The study identified organizational development needs in four main dimensions: personal, group, organization, and community. The findings show that the main obstacles to organizational development include lack of training, remote geographical location, and limited resources. However, the majority of respondents considered organizational development as an urgent need to improve individual and group performance, as well as adaptation to technological and policy changes. Kurt Lewin's theory of change and open systems theory were used as analytical frameworks to design relevant interventions and training. The results show that organizational development contributes to increased work efficiency, inter-agency collaboration, and quality of education. This study recommends a systematic approach in designing training programs, continuous evaluation, and collaboration with the community to ensure the sustainability of organizational change. The findings. are expected to contribute to local governments and school administrators in designing more effective organizational development policies.
